Lets talk about content now….
Google+, the largest and the most used search engine’s reply to Facebook, is finally out. It is currently in testing mode. But it seems like many masses of people have already got access to it. And Yes I am one of them.
The Google+ project is big G’s social initiative that brings Circles, Sandbar, Sparks, Huddle,Hangouts and more to millions of users of Google. Brief introduction of these feature is written below.
- Circles: think social circles, akin to Facebook’s groups
- Sandbar: a user-unifying toolbar
- Sparks: a search engine for sharing content between users
- Huddle: a group messaging app that allows users to share with certain “Circles”
- Hangouts: group video chatting designed to allow up to 10 users video chat at once

For the last few days, Google+ invites have not been available to the public, but apparently Google is prepared to test the service with a larger group. Google+ users will find a button that allows them to invite their friends on the Google+ Stream page. Invites are also available if a Google+ user shares content with a non-user via email.
Google+ Invitations are in high demand. I just posted one update on Facebook’s wall, and I have received over 100 requests for invites. Request for Google+ invites are flooding Facebook and Twitter.
How to get Google+ Invite:
Are you on Google +? Have you gotten a Google+ invite yet? Let us know what you think of Google’s social service in the comments. And we will send you Google plus invite and then you can invite other people as well…
Note: Please use only Gmail ID. Do not mention your email in the comment area; email field is required to post a comment and only admins can view your email. But if you mention your email in comment area, it might become the part of spam-lists, as your email will be visible to everybody.

I think that G+ will be something more than just “Google’s Facebook”. Maybe their current social services aren’t as good as FB or Twitter, but I don’t think that such thing as Plus will fail, it looks much more polished and and original than, say, Buzz. Besides, Google’s products are usually more “geeky”, so it’ll probably be more popular among tech people.

Google+ seems to be very interesting and whilst I have heard that it’s a facebook rival, I have also heard the opposite.

I’ve liked everything google has made so far and would love to use Google Plus!

Well i think you have to click on “Learn more about Google+” and it will redirect to the page, where you can create the account… If you still having 404 then may be google making some changes. Try it later…

I was an early invite to Gmail as well, and it’s been great to me. I’d love to have the same opportunity to try out Google Plus; it couldn’t have come at a better time, as fed up as I am with Facebook and the state of the social networking landscape right now. It looks like the Big G has created a social service that takes care of just about every complaint I have with my current services, exactly as they did for email – seems like Google can do no wrong these days (well, there was Buzz…)
If anyone would like to shoot me an invite, I’d be happy to spread the love around just as I did with Gmail a few years back. Viva Google!

I deleted Facebook – it’s mainstream, not personal any more and the privacy issues are just…
Then my cousin mentioned the new Google Social Network in February. I don’t know how he knew …. But I’ve been waiting for a very long time!
A few of my friends seemed interested in it too, and who said they’d get it if it was better than FB… So it’ll be good to let them know!

I am super excited for google’s new service and can’t wait to try it. Like others, I am frustrated by facebook. Its lack of granular privacy controls leads me to use it less that I would like (I don’t want my boss to know I’m at a bar the night before I work).
I am really looking forward to this new approach to sharing online. Also looking forward to being able to back up my Android pictures, and using the “Huddle” feature.

Looks really neat. Since Google already has tons of other web services that work together well, I can see Google Plus being really good, since a bunch of people already have Google accounts and it makes it easy to access many services with one account.
