Well as I told in comments we going to re-write CS5 Serial post with some fresh details so here it is. Actually there is a guy named “EliteV” shared a URL which has all the information with pictures as well so now it’s very easy to understand Adobe CS5 Serial instructions even for a normal internet user. Now I’m writing the new post with help of that article hope you like it… 
We have got the Adobe serial key-generator that works for all products of Adobe CS4 & CS5 and even for the master collection. It has the serials for any adobe product. This has been tested on windows 7 and worked perfectly but we can’t confirm for Mac OS.
OK so download the package first.
I have checked this application with my antivirus which is “Avast Antivirus Latest Version″ and it detects no virus, anyhow you can check this zip folder before extract it for security reasons…
Installation For Windows:
1. The first thing to do is disable your internet connection, just go to your Network Folder and
clicking the Disable Internet Connection; or simply just pull out your Ethernet Cable.
2. Replace the “hosts” file with the one provided in the Folder you downloaded. All you do is ‘COPY’ the file from that Folder and ‘PASTE’ to the specified directory. To get to the hosts file, you will have to go to: C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc (Its for Windows 7)

3. Run the KeyGen choose the software “Adobe Master Collection CS5″ and Copy/Paste the Generated Serial Number into Adobe. Finish the Installation.
4. Before you open your Adobe CS5 program, you have to Copy & Re-Place the .DLL file provided in your downloaded folder named (“amtlib.dll”). If you have more than one software you wish you activate then you have to Re-Place this DLL file into each of the file’s main directory in the Adobe Folder. For Example: C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop CS5 (64 Bit) (Its my Adobe Photoshop’s Directory in Windows 7)
5. It will work even without system restart, but we recommend you to restart your computer now.
That’s it. Enjoy the Software….

Adobe Photoshop CS5 Review – Conclusion
Adobe Photoshop CS5 is quite an impressive software application. In our opinion Photoshop CS5 is the best version yet. The new features available in CS5 are quite nice and will certainly expand your tool set.
We really enjoyed working with the Content Aware Fill feature, and the new brushes are fantastic. The HDR Toning, Refine Mask, and new 3D features were all nice additions as well. While we do think the Puppet Warp feature was nice, in our opinion it was a bit of a disappointment. Mini Bridge and the Lens Correction Filter were also notable new features but not exactly a massive leap forward.
In all, we like CS5. Do we recommend that you upgrade? Well, that depends. If you’re still using CS, CS2, or CS3, the new features in CS5 combined with all of the advances since might make the cost worthwhile. For those of you still using CS4, an upgrade is probably not necessary. However, if you feel the new content aware and brush features will really help your workflow and you have some money to spare, then go ahead and get it.
I hope we all will enjoy the photoshop’s latest version…

mark the reason that happens is because it reaches its server saying that serial key has already been used or hasnt been bought so you have to find a way to keep your photoshop from accessing the internet usually through anti-virus or firewalls

Well the reason most of the keys don’t work is because
1. your allowing adobe to connect to your computer
2. The morons using the good keys are not blocking abobe from accessing their computer.
To stop adobe from accessing your computer do the following
type start, run, and in the run box type C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc\hosts
When it asks what to open it with choose Notepad
Then at the bottom of the hosts file
You can copy these into the hosts file
127.0.0.1 activate.adobe.com
127.0.0.1 practivate.adobe.com
127.0.0.1 ereg.adobe.com
127.0.0.1 activate.wip3.adobe.com
127.0.0.1 wip3.adobe.com
127.0.0.1 3dns-3.adobe.com
127.0.0.1 3dns-2.adobe.com
127.0.0.1 adobe-dns.adobe.com
127.0.0.1 adobe-dns-2.adobe.com
127.0.0.1 adobe-dns-3.adobe.com
127.0.0.1 ereg.wip3.adobe.com
127.0.0.1 activate-sea.adobe.com

After you open notepad, keep the window open, then go back to start and select notepad again, but right-click to open it and select “run as administrator”… after you do this, paste the original “hosts” files’ content into the new document that you opened as an administrator, then paste the 127.0.0.1 info beneath, go to save, then name the file “hosts” – it will prompt you to replace the original file – click yes, then you should be all set.

I copied/paste it onto the file in notebook. I typed the serial number and it worked, but when i exited and came back on I had to use another SN.
I copied and pasted the stuff after I installed PS. Was I suppose to do it before I installed it?

Hybookie , i did what you posted and it worked. Only now a message saying “please insert disk into drive” Pops up every now and then. do i have to also block it from norton internet security. It seems to be working fine except for that little window that pops up. Any help would be fantastic !!! thanc again

If you right click on the etc file and go under security, you then click on advanced. Then a new window will open up where you press the owners tab. You then change the owner to your self by clicking edit. You exit out of all the windows (advanced window and properties window) and open properties again and then you go under security and click edit (under box with all the users). You then click the check box labeled “full control” for the administrators and the users. You should then be able to save the file

If you go into the windows firewall, you can add an outbound rule for PS CS5. Just block the connection for photoshop.exe and it won’t be able to verify any serial number you give it, but it will still treat it as verified and you have a fully functional piece of software.

Hi there…2 of the SN worked..when the green icon appeared i clicked continue..but nothing appeared ._., when i turn off ps cs5 and restart it says that the previous SN was incorrect ¬¬, it happened me twice with 2 SN that at the beginning were with green icon lol

(I put this SN after instaling CS5)
Then, appears a green icon after the SN, saying This number will be used for:Adobe creative suite 5 master collection.
It appears a Continue on the bottom..but i already cliked it twice with other 2 SN and didnt work at all…what should i do?

I have worked out how to save the hosts file.
Go to:
1) Start
2) Type NotePad in the search box
3) When it comes up, right click it and choose ‘Run as Administrator’
4) When NotePad opens, click ‘open’ at the top then type C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc\hosts in the run box then click ‘open’
5) Paste this under the other text :
127.0.0.1 activate.adobe.com
127.0.0.1 practivate.adobe.com
127.0.0.1 ereg.adobe.com
127.0.0.1 activate.wip3.adobe.com
127.0.0.1 wip3.adobe.com
127.0.0.1 3dns-3.adobe.com
127.0.0.1 3dns-2.adobe.com
127.0.0.1 adobe-dns.adobe.com
127.0.0.1 adobe-dns-2.adobe.com
127.0.0.1 adobe-dns-3.adobe.com
127.0.0.1 ereg.wip3.adobe.com

6) Then click save

Thanks guys!! I have the cs5 photoshop sorted the sn that worked for me was 1330-1538-7442-0055-7130-2952. It did take a good 10 tries with SN’s but try that one should work fine. Now im looking for the dreamweaver cs5 SN. if any one has that would you “care to share” or if I find it ill post it on here if any one is interested… Should start a dreamweaver cs5 sn post too
