More About Photoshop CS5: Photoshop CS5 was launched on April 12, 2010. In a video posted on its official Facebook page, the development team revealed the new technologies under development, including three dimensional brushes and warping tools. A version of Adobe Photoshop CS5 Extended was used for a Prerelease Beta. A large group of selected Photoshop users were invited to beta test in Mid-February of 2010.
Features: Photoshop has ties with other Adobe software for media editing, animation, and authoring. The .PSD (Photoshop Document), Photoshop’s native format, stores an image with support for most imaging options available in Photoshop. These include layers with masks, color spaces, ICC profiles, transparency, text, alpha channels and spot colors, clipping paths, and duotone settings. This is in contrast to many other file formats (e.g. .EPS or .GIF) that restrict content to provide streamlined, predictable functionality. Photoshop’s popularity means that the .PSD format is widely used, and it is supported to some extent by most competing software. The .PSD file format can be exported to and from Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Premiere Pro, and After Effects, to make professional standard DVDs and provide non-linear editing and special effects services, such as backgrounds, textures, and so on, for television, film, and the Web. Photoshop is a pixel-based image editor, unlike programs such as Macromedia FreeHand (now defunct), Adobe Illustrator, Inkscape or CorelDraw, which are vector-based image editors. Photoshop uses color models RGB, lab, CMYK, grayscale, binary bitmap, and duotone. Photoshop has the ability to read and write raster and vector image formats such as .EPS, .PNG, .GIF, .JPEG, and Adobe Fireworks.
Language availability: Photoshop is available in the following languages: Brazilian Portuguese, Chinese Simplified, Chinese Traditional, Czech, Danish, Dutch, English, Finnish, French, German, Hungarian, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Norwegian, Polish, Romanian, Russian, Spanish, Swedish, Turkish and Ukrainian. The Arabic, Greek, Hebrew, Middle Eastern, and North African language versions are available from Winsoft.

Adobe Photoshop CS5 Review – Conclusion
Adobe Photoshop CS5 is quite an impressive software application. In our opinion Photoshop CS5 is the best version yet. The new features available in CS5 are quite nice and will certainly expand your tool set.
We really enjoyed working with the Content Aware Fill feature, and the new brushes are fantastic. The HDR Toning, Refine Mask, and new 3D features were all nice additions as well. While we do think the Puppet Warp feature was nice, in our opinion it was a bit of a disappointment. Mini Bridge and the Lens Correction Filter were also notable new features but not exactly a massive leap forward.
In all, we like CS5. Do we recommend that you upgrade? Well, that depends. If you’re still using CS, CS2, or CS3, the new features in CS5 combined with all of the advances since might make the cost worthwhile. For those of you still using CS4, an upgrade is probably not necessary. However, if you feel the new content aware and brush features will really help your workflow and you have some money to spare, then go ahead and get it.

mark the reason that happens is because it reaches its server saying that serial key has already been used or hasnt been bought so you have to find a way to keep your photoshop from accessing the internet usually through anti-virus or firewalls

Well the reason most of the keys don’t work is because
1. your allowing adobe to connect to your computer
2. The morons using the good keys are not blocking abobe from accessing their computer.
To stop adobe from accessing your computer do the following
type start, run, and in the run box type C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc\hosts
When it asks what to open it with choose Notepad
Then at the bottom of the hosts file
You can copy these into the hosts file
127.0.0.1 activate.adobe.com
127.0.0.1 practivate.adobe.com
127.0.0.1 ereg.adobe.com
127.0.0.1 activate.wip3.adobe.com
127.0.0.1 wip3.adobe.com

I copied/paste it onto the file in notebook. I typed the serial number and it worked, but when i exited and came back on I had to use another SN.

Hybookie , i did what you posted and it worked. Only now a message saying “please insert disk into drive” Pops up every now and then. do i have to also block it from norton internet security. I can go to the hosts file and I can paste it in, but when I go save, it comes up with:

Make sure that the path and file name is correct.

If you right click on the etc file and go under security, you then click on advanced. Then a new window will open up where you press the owners tab. You then change the owner to your self by clicking edit. You exit out of all the windows (advanced window and properties window) and open properties again and then you go under security and click edit (under box with all the users). You then click the check box labeled “full control” for the administrators and the users. You should then be able to save the file

If you go into the windows firewall, you can add an outbound rule for PS CS5. Just block the connection for photoshop.exe and it won’t be able to verify any serial number you give it, but it will still treat it as verified and you have a fully functional piece of software.

Has some problems editing the “hosts” files. Didnt realize I had to run notepad in administrator mode (right click notepad when staring up and chose to run as administator).
Have disabled the Program suite to look for updates – does anyone know if this is neccesary? Dont really want the programs to “phone home” and potentially report problems with the registration…

I have worked out how to save the hosts file.
Go to:
1) Start
2) Type NotePad in the search box
3) When it comes up, right click it and choose ‘Run as Administrator’
4) When NotePad opens, click ‘open’ at the top then type C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc\hosts in the run box then click ‘open’
5) Paste this under the other text :
127.0.0.1 activate.adobe.com
127.0.0.1 practivate.adobe.com
127.0.0.1 ereg.adobe.com
127.0.0.1 activate.wip3.adobe.com

Thanks guys!! I have the cs5 photoshop sorted the sn that worked for me was 1330-1538-7442-0055-7130-2952. It did take a good 10 tries with SN’s but try that one should work fine. Now im looking for the dreamweaver cs5 SN. if any one has that would you “care to share” or if I find it ill post it on here if any one is interested… Should start a dreamweaver cs5 sn post too

Ok I see all the help for PhotoShop CS5 serial numbers but what about the whole CS5 design premium I downloaded from Adobe.
It has 13 different programs in it not to mention the adobe media program it installed in a seperate folder. Any numbers for them or all

for those having a problem with running notepad as an admin(the only way to save changes to the host file)
right click on notepad in the start menu
go to properties, advanced.
tick the box “run as administrator”
apply, ok.
if worried about security issues, just go back in after and untick the box and apply the change.
I too was getting the cannot save, filepath incorrect error…it took me a while to figure this out, and none of the other people with my same issue recieved any replies to help them…so i hope this does!

Seems like it did work, no more expiration messages, I edited the Host file and also block the outbond connections in Windows 7 firewall… I did look for software updates manually and there’s some updates available, Is it safe to update the software? has anyone done this? Thanks! =)

ok i have found a way to get photoshop cs5 extended,
first download this keygen crack

open the it up with winrar or winzip
open the keygen it will ask for a password the password is beezdul
after it will show 6 adobe programs with can be cracked also, but on the top right adobe photoshop cs5 extended is there, now on the bottom right it says crack, crack it now it will show you a serial, now type it in on photoshop when on the setup or if you have done trial and it asks do you have a serial now, after you type it in it will have a tick then click next, now you have it for free
i did not make the keygen

I purchased CS5 Extended on ebay. Looks brand new as advertised, but the serial number is no good. How can I get a good serial number? I tried those I saw in this forum, but when I close and get back in they are invalid. I guess because they are used. I’m sick over the money wasted. Can you give me a number?
